2019 - Civil law and process: history, current state and development prospect

CILS is happy to announce this important and exciting symposium organised by CILS’ Senior Lawyer Host University Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University

The VI Annual Symposium of the Journal "Herald of Civil Procedure" will be held in conjunction with the editors of the journal "Herald of Civil Law." The theme of the symposium: “2019 - Civil law and process: history, current state and development prospects” (on the 200th anniversary of the birth of D.I. Meyer)”. The event will be held on the basis of the Law Faculty of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University on 27-28 September 2019.

The symposium will be organized in two sections: “Contract Law: Evolution of Development and Novels of Legal Thought” and “Legal Clinic and Modern Practice-Oriented Technologies for Teaching the Civil Process”.

Leading Russian and foreign experts will take part in the symposium, in particular, there are who have already confirmed their participation: P.V. Krasheninnikov, E.A. Sukhanov, B.M. Gongalo, L.A. Novoselova, V.V. Yarkov, E.V. Vavilin, A.T. Bonner, Yu.V. Tai, as well as planned participation of scientists from China, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, Serbia and Poland.

The reports of the participants will be published in a special issue of the journal “Herald of Civil Procedure” (the journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals VAK, RSCI, Web of Science - RSCI).

Information about previous symposia

Registration of participants of the symposium is carried out by filling in the registration form, or sending an application to the organizers indicating: the participant’s full name, the topic of the report (in the case of giving a speech) or “participation without a report”, and contact (tel., e-mail) until September 1, 2019.

Important dates for the symposium: The deadline for submitting applications for participation is until 1 September 2019;
The deadline for submitting articles to a special issue of the journal is until 15 October 2019.

Travel and accommodation of participants are paid independently. The venue of the symposium: Kazan Federal University (Kazan, 18 Kremlyovskaya St., Main Building, Law Faculty).
