Lawyering in the International Market

Speakers from Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia will examine the most common issues confronting lawyers engaged in crossborder matters: intellectual property (trademarks, patents, copyrights), mergers and acquisitions, employment and business immigration, arbitration, litigation and dispute resolution, franchising and licensing, sales, finance and investment, bankruptcy and insolvency, taxation, telecommunications and the Internet.
The retreat starts on Sunday, 28 March at 6.30 p.m. with cocktails and an opening dinner. Sessions run Monday through Friday. The language of the sessions is English.
The SRA of England and Wales, the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland, the Netherlands Bar recognize CILS for CPD; the states of Texas, California (approved jurisdictions rule), New York (approved jurisdictions rule) for CLE
Fees include six nights luxury hotel accommodation, opening and closing dinners, social program and materials and all breakfasts (for delegates and faculty).
